Santa Came Early and it was Zen!

What a wonderful way to be woken up. No, not with the weekend special - Egg McJay in bed (although that is one of my faves). And not with Frosty the Snowman playing on the clock radio (another fave). But with the mail man banging down the door! I wasn't expecting anyone and I never open the door unless someone's delivering food. I look through the peep hole and there he is. Hello mail man, whuddup? Package, special delivery?! For moi?! I squish it. It feels like yarn!! yarn!? I've never received yarn (or anything else for that matter) this early in the morning. Could I be dreaming? Who could it be from? What could it be? Well, let me show you...From the Zen Yarn Garden.....

The Adorable Little Notions Bag

Isn't it just gorgeous!? The pattern is a freakin masterpiece. The Grape Jelly Yarn is delicioso! I can't stop feeling it up! And the notions bag is waiting to be filled with all of my little knitty knick-knacks! (And Jessie at Messie Craftie has a lot more for your pleasure!) I love it. I love it all!!! A big huge hug and thanks to Santa Lisa. You really shouldn't have! But I'm oh so glad that you did! What a wonderful wake-up call!

Seven More

Hey there Docta Steph! You tagged me with this one back in May, but hey, I can't resist. There must be 7 more random/weird things about moi, no? I'm up for the challenge....

THE RULES:
1. Link to the person that tagged you and post the rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 random and/or weird things about yourself.
3. Tag 7 random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs.
4. Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

1. My sister and I share a made-up language. For the most part the vocabulary is in English (with a bit of Spanish thrown in) but it's the way that we pronounce words or conjugate verbs that make it...well...original! Rightsies sista-sista?

2. My husband is 9 years younger than me. Hubba hubba!

3. We haven't been able to afford Graceland yet, so for the past few years we've spent our summer holidays at the Elvis Festival in Collingwood. Awesome!

4. When you want to buy something you obsess about it and eventually buy it, which makes it
really difficult for anyone to buy you a present you'll actually like. (This one came from the Hubs. He's frustrated that I keep ruining any Xmas present ideas he may have. sorry!)

5. I hate microwave ovens. We don't even have one in our apartment. They're just far too scary. "Nuking" your food (or anything else for that matter) can't be good, can it?

6. I'm addicted to reality shows - America/Canada's Next Top Model, American/Canadian Idol, Dancing With the Stars, Project Runway, Miami Ink, LA Ink, Jon & Kate Plus Eight, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Till Debt Do Us Part, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, What Not to Wear, etc, etc.

7. I have a 16 week old symbiotic organism growing in my belly.

And I'm going to tag...... Yvette, Joyce, Vik, Lisa Lung Doc, Lisa, Soosan (I hope this will force her to finally post something!), Peggy (ditto), Sophie (ditto ditto!)
