The Bangles
Having tired myself of the arm warmer gifts, I thought I'd give myself a break and give these babies a go:
bam! bam! bam!
A little while back Lisa had passed along this link and now I'm hooked! The greenish looking one is done in seed stitch, the yarn is some scrumptious Uruguayan stuff that I scored at the Yarn Tasting a little while back but I can't find the band (or remember the name!). The one in the middle is Noro Silk Garden and the purplish one is Malabrigo, both done up in stockinette. This one here was a bugger:
Purple Heather
The bangle is made of wood and I wanted that to show through so I decided to give the crocus bud pattern a try. The pattern is lovely, but I had to pay attention. Ugh, I hate that! And the yarn is Patons Kroy. Simple, yet elegant, no?
Black Pearl
And this is just a gratuitous shot of my lady bug tattoo, Black Pearl, inspired one of my favourite yarns.

Talk about adding insult to injury; along with my big feet (that take FOREVER to knit socks for), I also have big hands, which can't fit through bangles.
Sigh.
Yours do look cute though!
